📚General Rules
For your everyday player.
General RP Rules are as follows:
Staff instructions are not suggestions you must always comply with staff. Keep reports/complaints out of public channels. If an issue arises regarding server rules deal with it in tickets rather than in city.
Members of the discord and Lifeline RP FiveM server are to be respectful of Staff and other members at all times. This includes refraining from direct messaging someone out of character (OOC) with angry or offensive messages regarding in-game events. If you disagree with a staff ruling, do not argue. Submit a ticket to handle the matter privately. Trolling of any kind, whether directed at players, members, police, or staff, is strictly prohibited.
A working microphone with Push-To-Talk enabled is required; open mic is not allowed. If you have a disability that affects your ability to use a microphone, please contact a staff member to arrange an alternative method of communication.
The minimum age of the server is 18 years old. People under the age of 18 will be removed up until they become of age
Using texture packs is allowed if they provide realistic graphics. Using texture packs that give you an advantage such as no night, no foliage, no ocean/ clear ocean, etc. is strictly prohibited. If you are caught using such texture packs, this will result in a ban. This includes Kill effects or hit markers.
Using sound packs is allowed if they provide realistic sounds. Using a sound pack that gives you any kind of advantage such as louder footsteps, no background noise, ect. is strictly prohibited. If you are caught using such texture packs, this will result in a ban.
Donor assets such as cars, Items, maps, ect that are obtained through tebex or the in game donator menu are NOT allowed to be sold for in city cash. Vehicles purchased through the donator store may only be traded or gifted to others within reason. Please refer to our asset dumping rule for more information on acceptable transfer of these assets.
Use of racist, homophobic, derogatory OR overly sexual remarks in or out of character will NOT be tolerated. There will be an indefinite ban with appeal if caught doing this.
Any inappropriate behavior or anything of the sort to ANY member/staff is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to harassment, etc which is not allowed. These will result in an indefinite ban without appeal.
Mini-modding (breaking character to call out someone who is breaking a rule) is not allowed. Please /report in the city or open a ticket in discord after the conclusion of the RP scenario.)
Toxic comments about other communities/servers is NOT allowed within the Discord.
ANY use of exploiting, powergaming, or metagaming will be an indefinite ban without appeal. If it seems too good to be true it probably is.
While banned from the server and/or Discord, you are not permitted to create or use an alternate account until your ban period has expired. Attempting to evade a ban may result in further penalties, including an extended ban or additional accounts being banned. To dispute a ban, file an unban request through discord
While in the city, you are not permitted to be in Discord calls with other players or engage in outside communication that could influence in-game actions. This also includes lurking or chatting in other players' streams while they are in the city. While we encourage supporting our streamers, watching a live stream while in the city can lead to metagaming, which is strictly prohibited.
Discord is NOT to be used for in city information or advertising of any sort unless approved through staff #NoMeta. This also means you should not be on a discord call or other platform with anyone while in the city. this is considered metagaming
Maulding is a form of breaking character. We DO NOT tolerate maulding. We simply ask you to mute your mic take a second if you are dead, utilize /me’s to RP out your injuries until you've calmed down. This is not limited to IC. Our staff team works for free to better the city. You are NOT ALLOWED to come into a staff call or ticket and go crazy on our staff team. We will simply just remove you from the discord with no chance at an appeal.
Chain of Command: It is NEVER acceptable to DM staff about server topics or reports without approval from a staff member. Chain of command should be followed at all times. 1.) Trial Staff 2.) Staff 3.) High Staff 4.) Staff Manager 5.) Community Manager 6.) Owner *Developers should never be contacted without approval from Community Manager/Owner*
