EMS/Fire Rules
EMS/Fire Rules are as follows
All hospital immediate areas are "Green Zones".
Green Zones:
Areas where no violent criminal activity may occur. This does not include the area outside of the building. (The parking areas and sidewalks are also considered part of the green zone)
If in an active scenario this rule is nullified, meaning if PD rush a suspect, members of that group may try and break out that individual, this is based on Staff Interpretation
Other Encounters with EMS:
EMS/Fire deserve good roleplay too, if you provide little to no roleplay for EMS you are subject to be reprimanded by staff.
EMS/Fire are considered mobile "Green Zones". You may not shoot at them or down them. If they arrive on scene of an active situation they are to be advised to leave immediately. Abusing EMS/Fire as shields will be considered Power Gaming.
Downed player and Injuries:
EMS have the final say on EMS Scenes. If they determine you must ride back to the hospital for treatment you must comply and participate in the RP
EMS may only hold you for treatment for up to 20 minutes maximum unless otherwise agreed to using /me
Players may NOT be healed or revived in any active Heist/Gang War/Robbery and return to the scene. This is a form of Fail RP. If you are downed and taken to the hospital or "life lighted" you may not return to that active scene to finish fighting/looting/helping in any way
If your player is downed you may speak and interact (With injuries). If your player is flat on their back (Bled out) You must remain unconscious and use /me for your interaction Ex: /me Blunt force trauma to the head, BPM dropping, possible brain bleeding
Do NOT move a patient or self transport unless EMS/PD have asked you to. If there are no EMS available you may "Lifelight" or be driven to the hospital by a bystander. If you lifelight to the hospital you may not remember anything that happened in the past 15 minutes.
You are not allowed to hold EMS at gunpoint to prevent someone from being healed or force EMS to heal you during a scene. EMS will not come onto an ongoing scene to revive anyone. Finish what youโre doing and leave the scene.
Lifelighting/Respawning:
If you go down and noone is around to take you to the hospital and EMS is not available you may "lifelight" or respawn at the hospital
Respawning means your character can NOT remember the events that happened within the last 20 minutes
If you are body dumped into large bodies of water you are not to call EMS. You are to go to the light and not remember the events from that specific scene unless a witness relays the information after respawn.
EMS/Fire hostages:
EMS/Fire may never be taken hostage without serious and valid roleplay reasoning. They are vital to the health of the civilian population and must be able to resume duty as soon as possible. This only applies to on duty and in uniform persons.
