🛍️Business Rules

Business Rules are as follows

• Businesses are granted to players based on their ability to create RP and good interactions in the city. They are not meant solely as a personal or financial gain

• All potential business owners must submit a formal presentation style proposal for the business they wish to take ownership of. The real estate team will attend the presentation and vote on a decision once all interested applicants have had a chance to present.

• Applications submitted after an announced deadline will no be accepted for potential ownership

• Business owners are expected to maintain their business and be open consistently. This means you NEED to hire.

• If a business is foreclosed upon or released back to the real estate office the owner will NOT be allowed to apply for another business for 30 days. The owner will also NOT receive any compensation/refunds

• Businesses can not be sold to other parties without direct approval from staff. This helps give everyone a fair chance at owning a business and creating something unique for the city to enjoy.

• Businesses are considered forfeited or foreclosed after 7 consecutive days of the owner being absent from the city. If you are going to be away for a while that will affect your business please reach out to real estate

• Businesses are an important part of our city and should be respected by all players. Think of these workers as mobile green zone. If they are working the business then they should not be harmed/taken. Bringing your issues to a biasness hurts the city as a whole and is a bit tacky. #makeitmakesense

• Paycheck farming is not allowed. If you are not open for business or working at the establishment then clock off duty and into your unemployment. This not only hurts the economy but affects your reputation for players who show up expecting your doors to be unlocked because the phone app says you are open.
